A royal princess has been celebrating the central role of the Bible in Eswatini society in front of young people gathered from across Africa.
Wearing traditional costume with red feathers, Her Royal Highness Princess Siviwe Dlamini acknowledged the role of Bible Society in bringing the Word of God to her nation. ‘We are grateful to the Bible Society for making sure the Holy Bible is readily available for us. Blessed are those ears who hear the word of God and obey and practice it.’
‘Heartwarming’
The princess addressed young people gathered from across Africa for the opening Youth Forum of the African Biblical Leadership Initiative (ABLI). She said: ‘It is heartwarming to see young people in this place taking their time to acknowledge God.
‘The young people of Africa need to rise and take their position as God’s army. They should be faithful and obedient to His word, because God is alive. The kingdom of God is what should really matter to young people.’
Her Royal Highness Princess Siviwe Dlamini closed by calling for prayer for her nation: ‘Pray for the Kingdom of Eswatini that God’s kingdom will be established in our presence forever.’
